Remote monitoring

Alarm verification handled
by certified experts.

CELEO deploys the tower that detects. Monitoring is carried out by an independent operator certified APSAD P5, the highest French certification level recognised by insurers.

Our approach

The tower detects. An independent expert protects.

Many providers rent out the equipment and handle the monitoring themselves from their own centre. That makes them both judge and jury: their own centre deals with the faults and false alarms of their own equipment.

CELEO takes the opposite approach. We provide the detection technology; alarm verification is handled by a security operator whose sole business it is, certified to the highest level. This separation of roles guarantees transparency and quality for your site.

The alert chain

From detection to response, with no dead time.

The tower acts on its own, on site, from the very first second. At the same time, the alert goes to an operator who takes over and decides what happens next: a human presence, remotely.

  1. 01 The tower detects the intrusion and triggers on-site deterrence.
  2. 02 The alarm and images are sent instantly to the certified monitoring centre.
  3. 03 An operator assesses the event live: genuine intrusion or false alarm.
  4. 04 If the intruder is still there, the operator issues a live audio warning through the loudspeaker.
  5. 05 Confirmed intrusion: a mobile security patrol and the police are dispatched.

CNAPS or APSAD?

A government licence is no guarantee of security.

Two terms that are often confused, with very different levels of requirement.

The legal minimum

CNAPS licence

CNAPS, the French private security regulator, issues the mandatory state licence required to work in private security in France. It is an administrative authorisation: not a performance or quality label.

The insurers’ benchmark

APSAD P5 certification

A private standard of excellence (R31), created and required by insurance companies and audited by CNPP, the French fire-prevention certification body. By choosing a certified operator, your site is monitored to the strictest standards, recognised by your own insurer in the event of a claim.

What the P5 level guarantees

The highest standard in remote monitoring.

Cover from your insurer

APSAD is the standard insurers require. Certified monitoring secures your compensation in the event of theft or major loss on site, which a non-certified centre cannot guarantee.

No more “judge and jury”

Detection and alarm verification are carried out by two separate entities. The operator who assesses the alarm is fully independent and objective: it is their only business.

Total resilience: mirror mode

The P5 level requires a network of interconnected centres running in “mirror” mode. If one centre suffers a server failure or network outage, data switches over instantly, in real time, to another centre. Zero minutes of monitoring downtime.

Real response capacity on the ground

A centre sized to process signals around the clock, alarm verification within seconds, and the ability to dispatch mobile security officers to your site immediately, with priority access to the police.
